(Jul 2010) «Wirkungsorientierte Führung und Kontrolle in Non-Profit-Organisationen»
The seminar organized by the Lucerne University of Applied Science and Art in collaboration with Aid Governance took place for the second time in May 2010 in Zug. The aim of the seminar was to give a short introduction of the needs of an NPO and its management and governance bodies to be impactful and effective. Particularly outlining the complementary roles of management, governance and execution was regarded as very helpful.

(Jul 2010) Presentation of research findings at the Swiss Philanthropy Forum in Zurich.
At the forum on «Effective Philanthropy!?» in March 2010 Prof. Dr. Renz gave a speech on «Philanthropy and Governance – From a buzzword to impact». He presented the following research key findings:
- Governance is more than
- just «a well working foundation board»
- neat reporting
- an appeal on transparency
- The on-site implementation of projects needs governance in terms of constructive interactions across all hierarchical levels.

(Jul 2010) Aid Governance moderated the panel on «Social Business» at the DGDW 2010.
Aid Governance is increasingly known also among social enterprises: At the «Doing Good and Doing Well»-Conference in February 2010, Aid Governance acted as a panelist and moderator. The annual event is Europe's leading student-run conference on responsible business. More than 100 speakers shared their perspectives on how businesses can scale their organizations successfully while becoming more socially responsible actors.

(Jul 2010) Read the new Article about the KTI funded research project «Subsidiary Governance».
The KTI-research project «Subsidiary Governance» at the Lucerne University of Applied Science and Art draws in the holistic model of Aid Governance. The research project aims to help private sector companies to better steer and control their subsidiaries of strategic partnerships. The research project is unique in bringing private sector and NGO experience together.

(Jul 2010) CAS Per formance & Communication in NPO in Basel (in German).
A new CAS (Certificate of Advanced Studies) Performance & Communication in NPO, organized by the DEPS, Centre for Philanthropy Studies of the University Basel, will take place from September to November. In the third module (November 1-4) Prof. Renz will be presenting the «Project Governance» concept, concrete how-to guidelines and case examples.
